North-East Students Organization Jalandhar (NESOJ) Announces the Results of the 8th General Elections for the Term 2023-2024.
Jalandhar, Punjab – October 16, 2023: The North-East Students’ Organization Jalandhar (NESOJ) conducted its highly anticipated 8th General Elections at Hops Lawgate, Punjab, on October 16, 2023. The election event witnessed the selection of new office bearers who will lead the organization for the term spanning 2023-2024.
This pivotal election brought together representatives from all eight North-eastern states. The electoral process was meticulously supervised by the capable Nomination Committee, led by Nganaomi Zingkhai as the Chairman, with the esteemed membership of Thaiba Reinai and Abhiru Tenzing.

The election proceedings culminated in an oath-taking ceremony officiated by Pastor Tiaakum Ozukum, symbolizing the
unwavering commitment of the newly elected office bearers to serve NESOJ and its members diligently.
Himan Debbarma, the newly elected President of NESOJ extended his sincere gratitude towards all the members of NESOJ and also expressed his keen desire to organize the two mega event of NESOJ namely North East Sports Meet & North East Fiesta in more innovative and better way during his tenure.
