Police have detained six persons in connection with the violence and vandalism that erupted in Bishramganja on the night of August 5. 

According to police sources, the violence broke out shortly after news of the alleged molestation spread in the locality. Security forces were deployed to bring the situation under control.

Outraged residents reportedly gathered in large numbers, and the situation escalated into vandalism targeting property and public infrastructure.
