Agartala, September 17: A group of representatives of 1,856 candidates who qualified in the Teachers’ Eligibility Test (TET) 2025 has demanded that the merit list be published within the next week.

Addressing a press conference in Agartala on Wednesday, the candidates expressed dissatisfaction with the role of the Teachers’ Recruitment Board, Tripura (TRBT), and raised concerns over the delay in publishing the merit list.

The representatives warned that if the merit list is not published within the stipulated time, they will stage a sit-in protest on the road in front of the Chief Minister’s residence on September 24.

The candidates urged the authorities to take immediate steps to resolve the issue and ensure the early publication of the merit list.
