The state government is trying its best to help the people of the state. The healthcare infrastructure and service system in the state has improved significantly now. As a result, the number of referral patients is on the decline. People of the state have benefited through the Pradhan Mantri Jan Arogya Yojana and Mukhyamantri Jan Arogya Yojana.
Today Chief Minister Prof. (Dr.) Manik Saha made these remarks after giving assurance of assistance to the people who came to attend the 72nd episode of Mukhyamantri Samipeshu seeking help for treatment and other issues. The 72nd episode of Mukhyamantri Semipeshu was held at the official residence of the Chief Minister.
Ujjwala Biswas (Sarkar) from Shivnagar in Bishalgarh subdivision came to seek help for the treatment of her daughter’s complex disease on leg. The Chief Minister assured her that treatment of her daughter could be done in the state itself through consultation with the doctors of AIIMS, New Delhi through tele-medicine facility.
Shankar Saha from Agartala’s Shivnagar came to seek help for his daughter’s treatment. Narayan Banik from Badharghat was there to request for help regarding his wife’s kidney disease and other problems. Subal Saha from Town Bardowali sought help for treatment of his wife’s complex disease. After listening to their issues, the Chief Minister instructed the officials to take necessary measures for treatment and other assistance.
Besides, Chandra Kumar Das from Ramanagar (Agartala), Subal Mitra from Badharghat, Shanta Das from Bashbagan and Bakul Rani Das from Amtali came to seek help for their son/daughter’s treatment. Abdul Barek from Nandannagar came to seek help for the treatment of his son’s kidney disease. The Chief Minister heard them and issued necessary instructions to the officials.
There were also Kamal Das from Indranagar (Agartala) and Bina Bhattacharya from Krishnanagar who sought help for their own treatment of complex diseases. The Chief Minister assured them of help for treatment and other related issues. The Chief Minister handed over financial assistance to the widows of Subhash Malakar of South Narayanpur and Sanjit Das of Badharghat who died due to natural disaster. This assistance has been provided from the Disaster Management Fund.
Among others present in today’s Mukhyamantri Samipeshu were secretary to the CM, Kiran Gitte, Director of health department Dr. Debashree Debbarma, Medical Superintendent of GB Hospital Dr. Bidhan Goswami, Medical Superintendent of IGM Hospital Dr. Nirmal Sarkar, Medical Superintendent of Atal Bihari Vajpayee Regional Cancer Hospital Dr. Shiromani Debbarma and other officers from concerned departments.
