Agartala, Nov 13: The railway authorities have announced the cancellation of train services on the Agartala–Sabroom–Agartala route till November 25. The decision has come into effect from today.
The suspension of services has sparked intense anger among regular passengers who depend on this route for daily travel. Earlier, trains used to depart from Agartala to Sabroom at 1:40 p.m. and return from Sabroom to Agartala at 4:20 p.m.
Passengers expressed frustration over the repeated cancellation of train services on this route for the past month, saying it has caused severe inconvenience. They have urged the railway authorities to resume regular train operations at the earliest.
