Dr Manik Saha held his first cabinet meeting with 8 other ministers on Thursday, after swearing in as Chief Minister of Tripura for the second time on Wednesday.
While speaking at the Civil Secretariat, Chief Minister Manik Saha thanked the Election Commission, Prime Minister Narendra Modi, media and people of Tripura.
He added, “I convey my thanks to all, as the people attended the oath taking ceremony in Swami Vivekananda Maidan with discipline”.
While talking about the ongoing post poll violence CM Saha said that a selfish group is doing such things.
He added that he already directed to DGP Tripura to take step action against involved people and such incidents.
CM Dr. Saha further said that his government will work in sectors like health, education, sports, agriculture, etc. with priority basis.
He added, “More importantly we will give special attention for the development of the tribals of Tripura”.
CM said that Tripura has a very good relationship with Bangladesh due to which business can increase significantly.
He further said, “We (BJP) formed the government in Tripura with a majority. I would like to thank the public of Tripura for this”.
