Tripura: CM Manik Saha pays homage to Sardar Vallabhbhai Patel on his 147th birth anniversary

Iron Man Sardar Vallabhbhai Patel’s dream was to build a strong, sensitive and alert India.
Prime Minister Narendra Modi’s vision of One India Best India is inspired by this dream of Sardar Vallabhbhai Patel.

Chief Minister Dr. Manik Saha said this while attending the swearing-in ceremony, march past and band show organised by the initiative of security forces on the occasion of Rashtriya Ekta Diwas at Manoranjan Debbarma Memorial Stadium in Arundhatinagar on Monday.

In the beginning, Chief Minister paid tribute to Sardar Vallabhbhai Patel by garlanding his portrait.

Later CM visited the march past and read the oath to all those present in the stadium to protect the unity and solidarity of the country.

Chief Secretary JK Sinha, Director General of Police Amitabh Ranjan and officials from various levels of the administration were present on the event.

CM said, “People of this country will never forget the contribution of Sardar Vallabhbhai Patel in protecting the unity and solidarity of India. He sacrificed his life for the unity of India.

He further said that there has been significant improvement in law and order in the state in the last 4 and a half years.

Strong police action is being taken against violent and illegal activities and at present there is no terrorist activity within the state.
The state police and the central military have been making efforts to prevent the resurgence of terrorism in the state.

He said that according to the National Crime Record published in 2021, Tripra has the 5th lowest crime rate among the 28 states in the country.
