Civil Hospital Superintendent Dr Rakesh S Joshi says, “A total of 251 DNA matches have been done, out of which 245 deceased bodies have been handed over to the families.

Amongst these 245, 176 are Indian nationals, 49 are Britishers, 7 are Portuguese, 1 Canadian, and 12 are non-passengers.

Out of these 245 diseased bodies, 219 were transferred by road through our ambulance system, while 26 were transferred by air, out of which 10 were through international flight to the UK.”
