West Bengal: Bundles of currency notes were recovered at Surendranath College in Kolkata during a routine pre-monsoon cleanliness drive. The cash, found in two old suitcases inside a locked union room, was in a severely damaged condition.

Police from Muchipara Police Station have seized the suitcases and are cataloguing the recovered material to determine its value. A firearm was also reportedly found on the premises, prompting further investigation.
