Long distance trains to halt at Jirania station

Long distance trains to halt of Agartala-Silchar-Agartala long distance express train started at Jirania railway station.

On this occasion, a program was organized at Jirania Railway Station today. Speaking on the occasion, Transport Minister Sushanta Chowdhury said that the residents of the region have long demanded that long-distance trains halt at Jirania station. This demand was also conveyed to Union Railway Minister Ashwini Vaishnab. As a result, this train stopped at three places in the state.

This train will halt at Jogendranagar, Jiraniya and Manu stations. The transport minister said that this demand was fulfilled quickly with the sincere efforts of the railway minister.

He thanked the Railway Minister for this. He also said that as a result of the introduction of this rail stop, on the one hand, the passengers will benefit as well as the auto workers will also receive income.

After the ceremony, the Transport Minister and the guests welcomed the Silchar-bound train from Agartala by waving the green flag and started its journey from Jiraniya station. On behalf of the auto workers, special thanks were given to the minister and the minister was felicitated.
