A meeting of Gomati District Disha Committee was recently held at the conference hall of Gomati Zilla Parishad.

The meeting was presided over by Union Minister of State for Social Justice & Empowerment Pratima Bhowmik. Officials of different departments including MGNREGA, Pradhan Mantri Gramin Sadak Yojana, Pradhan Mantri Awas Yojana (Rural/Urban), Power, Fisheries, Agriculture, Horticulture & Soil Conservation.

School Education, PWD, Drinking Water & Sanitation, Water Resources, Health, Tripura Rural Livelihood Mission, Forest, Social Welfare & Social Education, Rural Development, Bank discussed about development works being implemented under their respective departments in the meeting.

MLA Ranjit Das, MLA Jitendra Majumder, Gomati District Magistrate Govekar Mayur Ratilal, Panchayat Samiti and Block Advisory Committee Chairmen, SDMs of Udaipur, Amarpur and Karbook sub-division, BDO of different blocks of the district and officials of different departments were present in the meeting.

Union Minister of State for Social Justice & Empowerment Pratima Bhowmik directed all department officials to complete works of all state government schemes in due time.
