Kamalpur, Aug 11: Power Minister Ratan Lal Nath on Monday inaugurated a 33 KV substation at Surma Durga Chaumuhani Bazar area in Kamalpur subdivision. The facility, set up at a cost of ₹9.76 crore under the NER Power System Improvement Project, was implemented by the State Power Corporation.
The inauguration ceremony was attended by MLA Manoj Kanti Dev, MLA Swapna Das Pal, Dhalai Zilla Parishad Assistant President Anadi Sarkar, Panchayat Samiti Chairman Bhanu Pad Lodi, and other dignitaries.
Speaking at the event, the minister stressed the importance of preventing electricity theft, conserving power, and promoting self-reliance among the unemployed.
