Mohanpur, Nov 14: Common people continue to face harassment at the Mohanpur Sub-Registrar Office due to delays in name registration services. An applicant, Shital Das of Bamutia, stated that She had applied for his name registration in April 2025, but even after seven months, she has not received it. She was forced to return empty-handed again on Thursday.

According to local sources, administrative work at the office is being severely disrupted due to persistent server issues and the absence of a permanent revenue officer.

The revenue officer’s office remained closed on Thursday as well, causing several applicants to return without being able to complete their land-related tasks.

The affected applicants have demanded the immediate appointment of a permanent revenue officer to ensure smooth functioning of the Sub-Registrar Office.
