Senior BJP leader Baharul Islam Majumdar no more.

Tripura Chief Minister Biplab Kumar Deb mourned the death of senior BJP leader Baharul Islam Majumdar who died last night after prolong illness.

Chief Minister Biplab Kumar Deb wrote, “I am deeply saddened by the passing of Baharul Islam Majumdar, Chairman of the State Waqf Board, eminent agricultural scientist and senior leader of Bharatiya Janata Party Tripura.”

Majumdar was a senior leader in Pradesh BJP. He also contested the 2018 assembly election but was defeated with a small margin of votes.
