Students must also involve themselves in creative activities besides academic studies: CM

College is like a temple. There is a deep relationship between the students and faculties of the college. Learning is an endless process. There is no age bar in learning. The government has given importance to quality education. Students must also involve themselves in creative activities besides academic studies, enunciated Chief Minister Prof. (Dr.) Manik Saha after inaugurating the library of Ambedkar College and 50-bedded ST Girls Hostel in Fatikroy today. He said, the more knowledge one gains, more the world will be in his hands. He said, the government has continued its development works in the state.

Sabhadhipati of Unakoti Zilla Parishad Amalendu Das said, the inauguration of the Girl’s Hostel today shows that we are finishing work within the fixed time. MLA Sudhanshu Das in his welcome speech said, those who don’t work only find excuses. Inauguration of the library and Girls Hostel of Ambedkar College shows our commitment towards work.

Principal of Ambedkar College Subrata Sharma presided over the programme. It is to be noted that the college library has been built at the cost of 38 lakh 90 thousand rupees and Girls Hostel was built at the cost of 1 crore 88 lakh rupees. DM & Collector Dr. Bishal Kumar and District Superintendent of Police Kanta Jangir were also present in the programme.
