Tripura: TTAADC election to be held on April 13, counting on April 17

Agartala, March 18: Elections to the Tripura Tribal Areas Autonomous District Council (TTAADC) will be held on April 13, State Election Commissioner Manoj Kumar announced on Tuesday. The counting of votes is scheduled for April 17.


Addressing reporters, Kumar said the official notification for the polls will be issued on March 18. Elections will be conducted for all 28 seats of the council, and the entire electoral process is expected to conclude by April 18.
A total of 9,62,697 voters are eligible to cast their votes in the election.


Polling will take place from 7:00 AM to 4:00 PM. In case of necessity, re-polling will be conducted on April 16.


The TTAADC has been governed by the Tipra Motha Party, led by Pradyot Bikram Manikya Deb Barma, since 2021.
