Agartala: Jhuma Sutradhar, a resident of Barjala in Agartala, is setting an inspiring example by successfully balancing her family responsibilities with her profession as an auto-rickshaw driver.

She owns her own auto-rickshaw and drives it twice a day, contributing to her family’s income.

Jhuma has studied up to Class VIII. Her husband works as a carpenter, and the couple has two sons who are currently pursuing their studies.

Along with managing all household chores, Jhuma confidently drives her auto-rickshaw to support her family.

Speaking about her journey, Jhuma said that she has never faced any opposition from her husband or other family members regarding her work. Her determination and self-reliance have made her a source of inspiration for many young girls and women.
