On the occasion of the 34th Tripura Industry and Trade Fair, a special Tech Pavilion has been organized at the International Fair Grounds. This pavilion will be open from 25th January to 11th February during the fair. This is a first of its kind initiative by the Department of Industry and Commerce to publicize various technological innovations for public welfare.

A total of 16 companies and institutes are exhibiting their innovative creations in this pavilion. These 16 companies and institutes are NIT, Agartala (their theme is Think, Innovative, Create for Society), Fishery College (Fish for Food, Feed for Fish), Rubber Board (Growth and Financial Sustainability), University of Agriculture (Sustainable Agriculture through Smart Farming Practices ), ITI, Vasantganj (3D Building Model), ITI, Indranagar Boys (Low Cost Home Automation), Ripsat (Biomedical & Bioremedial Pharmaceuticals), TMC (HIV/AIDS Prevention), Tripura Institute of Paramedical Sciences (a Health Services Strong Foundation Health Education), Tripura University (Environment Friendly Solutions), Skill Development Adhikari (Skill Tripura, Atanirbhar Tripura), Central Institute of Petrochemicals, Engineering and Technology (Plastic Recycling Technology), NTFP, COE (Ghar Ghar Agar, Har Ghar Agar), Arkanid (Green and Low Carbon Technology), WITI, Agartala (Automation in Embroidery Design) and Department of Information Technology (Digital Tripura, Autonomous Tripura).

The main objective of these exhibitions is to show how their inventions are helpful in solving people’s problems. This Tech pavilion is able to attract a lot of visitors, especially students to satisfy their curiosity about various subjects.
