Agartala, May 5: Ikramul Hossain, a resident of Boxnagar South Para, sustained injuries after being hit by gunfire allegedly from the Border Security Force (BSF) on Tuesday.

According to initial reports, the incident occurred near Gate No. 180 of the Boxnagar Border Outpost (BOP). The circumstances leading to the firing are yet to be officially confirmed.

The injured individual was immediately rushed to Govind Ballabh Pant (GBP) Hospital in Agartala, where he is currently undergoing treatment. Hospital sources stated that his condition is being closely monitored.
