
BSF Tripura, while safeguarding the extreme territorial limits of the Country is also playing multifaceted roles by extending services to the needy border population residing in the remote areas of Tripura State with an aim to reduce their sufferings and make them feel safe and connected, particularly in the midst of the Corona pandemic crises.
These philanthropic gestures of BSF are being highly applauded by all & sundry.
On 06th May 2021 at about 0900 hrs, a civilian namely Abhijit Reang (25 Yrs) son of Sh. Brikho Ram Reang resident of bordering Village- Brinjaypara, Post Office & Police Station-Manikpur, District – Dhalai (Tripura) reported at Border Out Post (BOP) Bahadur, Ex- 64 Bn BSF (Panisagar) having high fever and dysentery with bleeding.

After administering the first aid at the BOP, the aggrieved patient was immediately evacuated to Public Health Centre – Manikpur, Dhalai (Tripura) by BSF vehicle for further treatment.
His condition is reported to be stable.
Apart from extending assistance to the border populace, BSF Tripura is also actively sensitizing border populace from time to time in the fight against the deadly COVID pandemic.
