to perform LIVE at Swami Vivekananda Maidan, Agartala on Mar 25

A special campaign is underway to make the North East drug free and HIV free. As part of that program, a special concert will be organized on 25th at Swami Vivekananda Maidan on behalf of the state government.

Renowned singer Kumar Shanu will be present at this concert. Renowned singer Palak Munchal will also be present.

The music will be performed by various musical bands from the North East also.

The North-East Multimedia Campaign is going to be held on March 25 at Swami Vivekananda Maidan in Agartala as part of HIV and drug free campaign in North East including Tripura.

Information and Cultural Affairs Minister Sushanta Chowdhury made the announcement at a press conference held at the Secretariat’s press conference hall on Tuesday.

He added that a pleasant cultural evening was organized that day as part of the North-East Multimedia Campaign. Kumar Shanu, one of the renowned singers of the country will be present in this cultural evening.

State Pride Sourabhee Devvarma, Palak Muchhal, Palash Muhul and 6 bands from different states of North East will also be present and perform music.

The Information Minister said that free admission will be provided for the visitors to enjoy the cultural evening program.
