Prime Minister Narendra Modi will visit Tripura on September 22 to inaugurate the redeveloped Tripura Sundari temple in Udaipur, one of the 51 revered Shakti Peethas in Hindu tradition

The temple has been revitalised under the Union Tourism Ministry’s PRASHAD (Pilgrimage Rejuvenation and Spiritual Heritage Augmentation Drive) scheme, with a redevelopment cost of over ₹52 crore.

The state government contributed an additional ₹7 crore to the project.
