Pranab Sarkar, editor of Headlines Tripura National, has filed a case against Facebook page “CPIM Tripura” for illegally posted and distorted his original Facebook statuses and images, engaging in personal attacks against him.

Sarkar claimed, “The CPIM Tripura page has systematically slandered my name by stealing my content, editing it with malicious intent and spreading false narratives. This is not the first time I have been targeted by personal attacks without any proof.”

He claimed, “Totally illegally posted Facebook status and pictures by stealing and distorting it through new edits and slandering. My complaint is against the facebook page called “CPIM Tripura”. I have been slandered on another page before and personal attacks have been made on this page without any proof. I think CPIM Tripura page is doing this misdeed and defamation completely systematically. This page is proof of that. The proof of what I wrote on the page and how CPIM Tripura distorted and propagated the matter is enclosed with this charge sheet. Therefore, I hereby request that action be taken against this page “CPIM Tripura” as per Indian Penal Code and Cyber Wing Act of State Police subject to proper evidence.
