Union Railway Minister Ashwini Vaishnaw took stern action against officials for providing unsuitable and old trains to BSF personnel travelling from Tripura to Kashmir for duty.

Four officials from the Alipurduar Division have been suspended with immediate effect.

A special train from Agartala is now being arranged exclusively for BSF personnel, with full attention to their convenience and honour.
