Governor Indrasena Reddy Nallu visited Agartala’s Maharajganj Bazar on Wednesday afternoon. When the governor reached Maharajganj market, he was welcomed by Agartala Municipal Corporation (AMC) Mayor Deepak Majumder, AMC Central Zone Chairman Corporator Ratna Dutta.

After visiting Maharajganj Bazar, the Governor interacted with the Central Bazar Committee and the representatives of various vendor associations of Maharajganj Bazar.

Speaking to the representatives of the Central Market Committee and other vendors’ associations, the Governor was apprised of the wholesale business of various products in this market and the various infrastructure of the market.

Maharajganj Bazar Central Committee President Swapan Kumar Pal presented the infrastructure and comprehensive information of the market to the Governor.

Later, the Governor visited the vegetable market, fish market, wholesale fish market and fruit market in Maharajganj Bazar and exchanged views with them. During the visit the Governor was also informed about the prices of these products.

Speaking to reporters while visiting the Maharajganj market, the Governor said that the Maharajganj market is a very good market. He came to this market to see how the traders sell their products.
