The Assistant Returning Officer of North Tripura district has issued a warning to BJP MLA Jadab Lal Nath for breaching the model code of conduct during the Second Phase of elections on April 26.
MLA Nath, representing Bagbasa assembly constituency in North Tripura district, is accused of entering a polling station.
It is alleged that MLA Jadab Lal Nath behaved inappropriately towards a Booth Level Worker responsible for overseeing the voter’s help desk.
A statement from the CEO’s office has revealed that the incident occurred at polling booth number 22 in Bagbasa.
